I was asked by DITR to do some flyers for upcoming local shows this year, I'm pretty excited been wanting to do something like this for a little while, I hope it leads to more opportunities like T-shirt and cover art commissions. Just trying to take as many opportunities like this as possible right now. Anyways this is a flyer for a show in June, I don't know the bands but visit DITR Promotions on Facebook to find out more.
Lately I have been devoting a lot of my time to putting together a Skateboard show, that will hopeully show this summer and a few times next year. I am really excited and will be making a page devoted to this project. Currently I have about 30 artists involved, mostly from the Mt. Pleasant area and Lansing area. I you're interested it is 10$ for a board (I am ordering in bulk so they are CHEAP). I have spoken to Scene Metrospace in East Lansing about a show next year and they seem interested, I have to put a proposal together for the director Tim Lane as soon as possible. I'll be excited to get the boards in and start working on mine. You can leave a comment or message me if you are interested in being a part of the show.
Also I have launched a new line of small bags called "Sleeves to Fashion" they feature hand painted images and are perfect or Ipods/ NDS/ 3DS and what not they are listed on Etsy (click the "SHOP" link at the top of the page to see them. Everything is fairly cheap, nothing over 15$. All the money will help fund my trip to NY this summer. These bags will alsp appear (among many other things) at Shadow Art Fair this summer! If you live around Ypsi, MI please come out and see myself and the other 40 talented artists at Shadow.
Going to try and update here a bit more, I've been seeing lots of traffic lately and I'm excited that there are people out there viewing my work =)
